Josh Allen is Better than Patrick Mahomes

In the 2017 NFL draft the Chiefs used a pick that they obtained from the Bills to draft Patrick Mahomes. That season in the middle of a rebuild the Bills went on to accidentally make the playoffs. The Bills still needed a quarterback and traded up in the 2018 draft to select Josh Allen 7th overall.      After the 2020 season both of them met in the AFC championship game. Mahomes won that matchup and went on to get destroyed by Tom Brady in the Super Bowl. The Bills made mistakes on offense and defense as well as making very poor coaching decisions.      The two teams met again this this year in the Regular season and then the playoffs. The Bills won the first game and then lost in heartbreaking fashion in the playoff game. I'm not going to debate the overtime rules, but many people were ready to completely change them to either the college football OT rules, or to play an entire 15 minute period and keep going from there if the game were ...

Teachers Should be Championing Class being Recorded. Accessibility Matters

For years teachers have been begging for parents to get more involved in the education of their children. Teachers are often quoted as saying academic success begins in the home. And they are correct in this. When I started Kindergarten in 1998 it was expected that by the third day of school I would know my mom and dad's names, my home address, and my phone number. If my parents had not worked with me before I started school to know these things I would have failed my first assignment in my entire academic career. And now as parents are taking an interest in the education of their children teachers are complaining that they are not paid enough to deal with this.      I agree that a fully qualified teacher does not have a salary that reflects their qualifications. In New York to get a credential you need a master's degree and local districts have just bumped starting pay up to $42,000 per year. A custodian that works all the overtime that is offered woul...

Introduction Post

Hi! I am Samantha, I am a trans woman that is in college right now. I have had a very interesting life so far. At 27 I have a decent amount of experience in various areas of life including over a decade of working in experience in various industries. I started working at Sears and most recently have been employed in food service and as an Uber driver.      At the moment I am not an Uber driver because I no longer have a car that is eligible for it. But in a couple of months I will be renting a car and being an Uber driver again. I'll buy a car after saving up for a decent down payment. At the moment I am looking at either the Kia Rio or the Kia K5.      Before the current situation I traveled frequently often leaving my home for a couple of days at a time each month. And once things are a bit safer I will be doing that again.     I love making content for people to view or read. I make tiktok videos and have recently branched out int...

The Chiefs Prove that Liberty and Justice for All does not Exist.

I did not think it was possible for a compromise that allowed slavery to continue in the United States could get worse than it already was 202 years after it happened.      The original United States Constitution said that slavery and the slave trade could not be abolished prior to 1808. But there were many economies that relied on slavery to keep things moving. After the Louisiana Purchase there was a lot of talk about what states would be admitted to the Union and would they be free states or slave states. In 1820 this came to a head with the admission of Missouri to the Union as a slave state. It allowed Missouri to enter as a slave state, and all states that currently had slaves were allowed to keep them, but any state North of the southern border of Missouri could not be admitted to the Union unless it were a free state. This actually affected the state of California at the time. But today we are not talking about that. Today we are talki...

Hank Green Ruined Public Education! Is Tik Tok next?

Hank Green is an author, an online content creator, and a person that owns several multi million dollar businesses. He and his brother have been content creators online since at very close to the beginning of the ability to share content on YouTube. There was Vlog brothers at first. I have no problem with that content existing. The issue I have is with Crash Course and SciShow.     Right now there is a shortage of qualified teachers across the entire United States. A lot of this can be explained by lack of decent pay for teachers. My local district until about a year ago had custodians and first year teachers making the same starting salary when the custodian's hourly rate was converted to an annual salary. This was without overtime. The schools only required a background check to become custodians. A masters degree is required to be a teacher in the state of New York.      The Green brothers created Crash Course as a way to share the general ...
