Introduction Post

    Hi! I am Samantha, I am a trans woman that is in college right now. I have had a very interesting life so far. At 27 I have a decent amount of experience in various areas of life including over a decade of working in experience in various industries. I started working at Sears and most recently have been employed in food service and as an Uber driver. 

    At the moment I am not an Uber driver because I no longer have a car that is eligible for it. But in a couple of months I will be renting a car and being an Uber driver again. I'll buy a car after saving up for a decent down payment. At the moment I am looking at either the Kia Rio or the Kia K5. 

    Before the current situation I traveled frequently often leaving my home for a couple of days at a time each month. And once things are a bit safer I will be doing that again.

    I love making content for people to view or read. I make tiktok videos and have recently branched out into making content on youtube. I also decided that making a blog would be a really fun way to share some of my thoughts in a longer form and easier to edit manner than video. I have been streaming a bit on twitch and youtube. I just got a computer that allows me to stream more stuff than before. And I plan on purchasing a gaming desktop in the near future. This computer is mainly to be used for school, but I'll use it to stream as well. 

    My interests include motorsports, trains, well actually all forms of transportation and almost all sports. I don't like tennis or golf. I love science fiction including Star Trek, Dr. Who, and Star Wars. I love to read. And I do enjoy writing. At one point in my life I had written a book and I want to do that again. 

    Right now I need to focus on getting my education and building up some funds once I graduate I plan on moving to another city.

Mariners Red Sox Opening Weekend Series Discussion.

 Thursday was opening day for the Mariners and myself and many other fans were excited to see what the new look Mariners would bring to the ball park. The team had made an effort to offload players prone to striking out over the offseason in order to bring in players that can control the zone, get on base, and put balls in play. All of these things are supposed to help a team score more runs. Luis Castillo was the opening day starter and everyone thought this would be a game where the Mariners would be able to score some runs while the starter didn't need as much support as the team was giving him. This didn't happen.  The Mariners gave up 6 runs to the Red Sox while Castillo struggled with control for the game. He would leave the game with the loss. Seattle would end up scoring 4 runs on 8 hits over the course of the game. Boston scored 6 on 11 hits.
