100 Million Impressions and all I want is Exist as My Authentic Self

Today is two years since the first time I posted a video to TikTok. It was a cringe video that has since been deleted. It wasn’t the first time I have existed online, but it was the first time I decided I want a presence there and that I have a right to take up space. Since then, I have posted a number of things to various platforms.  

Over the course of the last two years across all forms of social media I have gathered over 100 million impressions, I only have been keeping a spreadsheet of everything for the last month, but even with just my main account on TikTok where I have 56,000 followers, I gained 65 million impressions in the year 2021 alone. I also had a single tweet get over a million impressions when I called former NASCAR driver Kenny Wallace a jackass. 

I have learned that there are a lot of toxic things about social media and people are willing to say and do things that they would never do in person because of the anonymity being online seems to provide. And I have learned to just not let their crap get to me. Over 100 million people have seen things I create, 56,000 people have chosen to follow me on a single platform, I average 168,000 impressions a day across all social media. I have not been counting this blog because I literally forget that it exists at times. Clearly some people enjoy the things I create and there will always be people that hate you. Even the most well-loved person ever had enemies.  

I don’t want to be a full-time influencer; I simply want to exist online as a trans woman because right now every one of us that does that is an act of resistance against all of the terrible hate that is being brought against LGBT people. Thank you for following me and allowing me to exist as myself.

Mariners Red Sox Opening Weekend Series Discussion.

 Thursday was opening day for the Mariners and myself and many other fans were excited to see what the new look Mariners would bring to the ball park. The team had made an effort to offload players prone to striking out over the offseason in order to bring in players that can control the zone, get on base, and put balls in play. All of these things are supposed to help a team score more runs. Luis Castillo was the opening day starter and everyone thought this would be a game where the Mariners would be able to score some runs while the starter didn't need as much support as the team was giving him. This didn't happen.  The Mariners gave up 6 runs to the Red Sox while Castillo struggled with control for the game. He would leave the game with the loss. Seattle would end up scoring 4 runs on 8 hits over the course of the game. Boston scored 6 on 11 hits.     Hi! I am Samantha, I am a trans woman that is in college right now. I have had a very interesting life so far. At 27 I have a decent amount of experience in various areas of life including over a decade of working in experience in various industries.
